Choosing a company to entrust your vehicle to for
an LPG conversion can be a potential 'minefield'. A lack
of Government legislation on installers and equipment supply
has, over the years, seen a massive increase in LPG conversion
companies, many claiming to be specialists, professionals
and experts. We have watched many come and go and continue
to see an ongoing number of vihicles here at AFS, from across
the country, for rectification work. This includes system
removal, making vehicles safe to use, clearing banks of
OBD manufacturer fault codes, caused by poor installations
and systems, to allow correct petrol operation and advising
frustrated members of the public, who to turn to for advice
(generally Trading Standards or the LPGA), all victims of
unscrupulous conversion companies.

centre while in an unfamiliar part of the country or in
case of moving house or premises.
AFS became an LPGA and Powershift approved company at
its formation in 1998 and is one of very few conversion companies
to gain ISO 9002 and 14001 accreditation, covering all aspects
of LPG conversions, sales and servicing. The company operates
from a 10,000 square foot, purpose built premises, within
close reach of the M25 and is fully equipped to cater for
both fleet customers and the private individual.
