1903 was an auspicious
date for Vauxhall, as this was when the Vauxhall car
company was created in London. The name of the car
firm comes from the area of London in which it was
formed. Not long after this, the first Vauxhall
production car goes on sale. This car, had two
forward gears, and no reverse!
In 1925 the American
automobile conglomeration, General Motors brought
Vauxhall into the family.
As a subsidiary,
Vauxhall Motors is a UK car company. Most current
Vauxhall models are right-hand drive versions of the
Opel brand.
Many of these Vauxhalls can be converted
to LPG, for huge savings on fuel costs by AFS. |
